SOMETHING NEW,
BUT WHEN HAS IT NOT BEEN OLD?

OUR CHILDREN!

Such joy, such sorrow!
Such pleasure, such pain!
Such pride, such disappointment!
So many contradictions!
So many mixed emotions!
Our hopes and dreams are wrapped up in them!
How many prayers we have prayed for our children!
They come to us totally helpless.
We teach them all we can.
We hope to save them from all the sorrows ahead,
and yet, we must let them learn for themselves.
How we would like to spare them
all the pain we have known
and seen in the lives of others.
We pour our lives into them only to see them leave
and start their own homes and families.

Our job is done now.
Only one thing remains.
We pray for them with all our hearts,
and trust them to our Heavenly Father
Who loves them even more than we do!
May they always be men and women
of faith, wisdom, and integrity.
And guess what?
Now we have
GRANDCHILDREN!
