Chocolate Cake and Fillings

Chocolate Cake

2 Cups Sugar
1      "     Butter
1/2    "    Milk 
3      "    Flour
3  eggs
1  teaspoon B. Powder
1        "      Vanilla Extract

 

Filling No. 1

Boil 2 oz. Chocolate, 1 Cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon Vanilla until thick, cool & spread.

 

No. 2

Whites of 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons grated Chocolate, 1 teaspoonful Vanilla, mix smooth & spread.

Note:  Please remember that these are old recipes. The measurements they used may not have been the same as we use today!
