Yolks of 8 eggs, scant
cup of butter, 2 of sugar, 4 of flour, one of sour milk, teaspoon soda,
tablespoon corn starch; flavor with lemon & vanilla
Silver Part
Two cups sugar, one of
butter, 4 of flour, 1 of sour milk, teaspoon soda, tablespoon corn starch,
whites of 8 eggs, flavor with almond or peach. Put in pan, alternately, one
spoonful of gold & one of silver.
