There were twelve children. NOTE: There seems to be a problem with the dates for the children. If Leonard was born in 1897, he was born too close to Easter... not likely if there was a natural birth. If he was born as mentioned in the 1900 census Oct 1896, his birth would fit better with the date for Easter; however, the birth date would be very close to that of Monroe, although that date would be possible. Later census records show Leonard with a later birth date. More research needed.
