Shared note
|
He enlisted at Memphis Oct. 1861 in Company D 44 Miss. Infantry. He died on Mon., May 5, 1862 at Okonona, Mississippi, having fought n the Battle of Shiloh. He was 15 when he enlisted and when he died. Since he died about a month after the Battle of Shiloh, I would like to know if he died of wounds received there or of illness. |
