Shared note

A letter from Ora (Mrs. James C. Daniel) 23 Oct 1991: "We have not seen a death record for Mary Sims Daniel, there was no marker on her grave. Some one in the family told us it was 1916 but we have always been in doubt. It was too close to the 2d marriage date for which we have a certif." Marriage recorded to Miss Mary Sims at Ashley Sims' res. to C. B. Daniel. Hopewell Cemetery is "near Honoraville", and all the children were born in Honoraville.
