Shared note
|
In the 1860 Census she is shown to have attended school the preceding year. Information from a descendant, Chad Pigott, says that in 1879 a daughter, Blanche, died of fever at the age of four. He said that Sarah died in April 1880 from complications due to the birth of her son Hiram. Hiram died shortly after the census in 1880. Chad believes that her grave is at East Boone Prairie Cemetery. Frederick moved to Bastrop, Texas, where he later married Miss Kate Freeman in 1883. From that union he had four children who survived out of six. Chad says that Frederick died in 1917 and is buried with a Confederate Marker at High Grove Cemetery outside of Rosanky. This information needs to be verified.
