Shared note	After her first marriage broke up, she married again, this time to James Addison Conner. He had previously married Amanda Samantha Clark on 21 Feb 1878 in Llano. She died in 1894 (buried in Board Branch Cemetery). In 1898 he married Mrs. Alice Swift. Apparently Alice was using her maiden name again. By 1910, she is once again living as Alice McQueen. After her first marriage broke up, her children apparently lived with other people, or else they were married or on their own by the 1900 census. At least, that is what we find on the census records. Only son Burt was with her at census time. It is unknown if Burt is his nickname or his actual name. Previous information showed this child with the name Clifford. Apparently that name was incorrect, since his death certificate is for Burton Webster McQueen. Texas State Death Certificate: She was Alice Elizabeth McQueen, residing at 1400 Gurley, Waco, McLennan, Texas. The place of death was Precinct 2, San Saba, Texas. The length of residence where the death occurred was one month, seven days. She was a widow, born 29 July, 1867 in Waco, Texas. She was aged 75 years 1 month. Her parents were John Swift, birthplace unknown, and Elizabeth Anderson, born in Missouri. Mrs. J. H. Templeton of Buchanan Dam (her daughter) was the informant. The place of burial or removal was Lane Grove. She died 30 Aug 1942 of a cebral hemorage. Hypertension was contributory. After her first marriage broke up, she married again, this time to James Addison Conner. He had previously married Amanda Samantha Clark on 21 Feb 1878 in Llano. She died in 1894 (buried in Board Branch Cemetery). In 1898 he married Mrs. Alice Swift. Apparently Alice was using her maiden name again. By 1910, she is once again living as Alice McQueen. After her first marriage broke up, her children apparently lived with other people, or else they were married or on their own by the 1900 census. At least, that is what we find on the census records. Only son Burt was with her at census time. It is unknown if Burt is his nickname or his actual name. Previous information showed this child with the name Clifford. Apparently that name was incorrect, since his death certificate is for Burton Webster McQueen.

Texas State Death Certificate:
She was Alice Elizabeth McQueen, residing at 1400 Gurley, Waco, McLennan, Texas. The place of death was Precinct 2, San Saba, Texas. The length of residence where the death occurred was one month, seven days. She was a widow, born 29 July, 1867 in Waco, Texas. She was aged 75 years 1 month. Her parents were John Swift, birthplace unknown, and Elizabeth Anderson, born in Missouri. Mrs. J. H. Templeton of Buchanan Dam (her daughter) was the informant. The place of burial or removal was Lane Grove. She died 30 Aug 1942 of a cebral hemorage. Hypertension was contributory.
