Her information was omitted from the 1991 draft by oversight. At the Daniel family reunion in Nashville, TN in 2004, Rafton Davis said that her father apparently prostitued her to get money. At the 2006 reunion in Greenville, Richard Morgan told more about her. She had had two black daughters born before Namon. They both died in infancy. She told her parents that if anything ever happened to Namon, she would kill herself! As a result, she was allowed to keep him. In the 1910 census she has two deceased children shown. There may be a conflict in the number of children if she had four living in 1910, with two deceased. More research needed. Census: In the 1910 census it says she gave birth to six children, and only 4 were living. Who was the other child/children? Which was deceased? There is a child buried in Dry Cemetery named Zelma D. (no surname) 29 JUN 1882-26 MAY 1884. Could this be one of her children?
