Shared note

9/92: Dates from Thomas Daniel Bible.
A William W. (Jr.) and Mary Pharaoh marriage is shown 4 Sep 1853 in the list of Butler Co. marriages, but without any proof as to which William.
Note, pg 102-CEM, he is called Wm W. (Jr), son of Thomas. Also, p. 102.1 gives a land sale from W. J. Daniel to Thomas Pharough, 12-30-58. The original bond or marriage record may give more information; 8-27-1853 & 9-4-1853.

Broyce provided a copy of the 1860 Butler Co, AL census that shows W. W. and S. A. Daniel, he 27, b AL and she 15, also b AL. Living on
one side are the McNeals, who bought Thomas Daniel's property in Jan 1860, and on the other side are the McCarthy/McCarty's. After Thomas moved to Red Level, his son George W. Daniel moved NE of Honoraville near his older brother Thomas F. but William W. stayed near his new father-in-laws family. Broyce believes this W. W. Daniel is the son of Thomas that went to Red Level.
BUTLER Co ALABAMA Marriages:
Sep 24 1853 Wm. W. Daniel to Mary Pharoah.
Dec 28 1859 Wm. W. Daniel to Sarah Ann McCarty.
Dec 28 1859 Geo. W. Daniel to Mary Ann McCarty.

Then there is a Lowndes Co marriage:
Feb 20 1867 Geo. W. Terrill to MRS. Mary Ann Daniel (could this be Geo. W. Daniel's widow?)

Pension record obtained by Hines Daniel identified Wm W. Daniel and widow Sarah A. Daniel by name. He died Oct 25, 1862 at "Marion Station" of pneumonia, and she filed a Claim on May 23, 1864.
