Shared note
|
Her parents were of Boonshill, TN. Lelia and her mother were Union prisoners during the Civil War for three or four months. She was the last surviving prisoner of the Union forces. Elizabeth Orlena Sawyer, Lelia's mother is a sister to Sarah Ann Sawyer who married Salathial Harris Kimes. Therefore, her descendants are also cousins of the Kimes who descend from Martha Ola Daniel. Paxton was the surname of one of the great grandmothers, there were Crawfords in the line too, but I don't remember where." |
