Alessandro and Miss Josephine Kemendo, both of Waco, took place Tuesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. Kemendo, on South Eighth street. Judge Giles P. Lester officiated. The attendants were Vincent Mistretta of Waco and Mrs. Frank Scanio of Temple, the latter a sister of the bride. Professor Alessandro is the leader of the band bearing his name. He is well known in musical circles throughout the State.

She was Josephine Cecilia Alessandro, born 18 Feb 1894 in Texas to Josephine Battaglia and Vincent Kemendo. The informant was Mrs. Josephine Marks. Her usual residence was 8304 Knight Road, Cottage #11, Houston, Texas. Her usualy occupation was receptionist for Kaye Mrvin Studios. She was 81 years of age at the time of her death. The cause of death was Adenocarcinoma of rectum. There was no autopsy. She died at 2:10 PM on 12 Nov 1975 at the HOlly Hall Nursing Home, Houston, Texas. She was cremated 14 Nov 1975 by Memorial Oaks Crematory, Houston, Texas.
