John Walter Hajec
April 17, 1947 - March 7, 2019
John Walter Hajec Jr. was born April 17, 1947 and went to be with Jesus on March 7, 2019, at the age of 71. He was born in Joliet, IL to John and Mary Hajec.

John worked his entire life as a tool & die maker. He was a practical joker and loved to make people laugh. John loved his wife and family and spent his life working hard to care for them. He also loved other people and never met a stranger.

John began volunteering for MAPS RV Volunteers Ministry in 1998, and after retiring in 2007 from Anheuser Busch, he and Dianne began full time missionary work for MAPS RVers. John spent his time volunteering to help build churches, work at a Teen Challenge programs and various other projects around the country. He also never missed an opportunity to talk to someone about Jesus.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne; his three children & their spouses, Steven & Teri Hajec, Renee & Shawn Templeton and Lisa & Joshua Lee; as well as 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, "Sam" Newton.
