Obituary: Pellerin Mildred Scales Mildred Scales Pellerin, 82, of Port Neches, Texas, died Saturday, July 12 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Port Neches funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 14 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesdy July 16 at Waco Memorial Park under the direction of Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday, July 15, at the funeral home in Waco. Mrs. Pellerin was a native of Colbert County, Ala. She lived in Port Neches for 33 years. She as a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and past president of Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4820 in Port Neches. Survivors include her husband, Alex L. Pelerin Sr. of Port Neches; daughter, Sara Ann Scales Burns of Carrollton; step-daughter, Velma Lee Pellerin Dunn of Bridge City, Texas; son, Willie G. Scales Jr. of Bossier City, La.; step-son Alex L. Pellerin Jr. of Port Neches; sisters, Martha Gist of Waco, Gertrude Bowles of Florence, Ala., Willie Green of Florence, Ala., Mabel Stimpson of Fort Worth and Elizabeth Hendricks of Weatherford; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
