Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Linda Wimberley officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Juanita was born July 17, 1929 in Waco to Edgar Irvin and Agnes Mae Skinner. She graduated from La Vega High School in 1946. She worked part-time for the WISD Food Services and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a dedicated homemaker and caregiver; a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Juanita has been a longtime member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Isaac Boyd Turner; two brothers and one sister. She is survived by two daughters, Nita Winget and husband, David of Waco; Nancy David and husband, Roy of Spring, TX; two sons, Ronald Turner and wife, Denise of Clifton; and Wayne Turner and wife, Mona of McGregor; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Skinner of Houston; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Lake Shore United Methodist Church.
