Beyond our Elusive William Daniel

When he was sixteen years of age, he and his brother came to the United States, landing somewhere around Galveston, Texas. Another brother later arrived at New York.

John met his wife when she was fifteen. She was born in Breman Germany, and had come to the United States when she was twelve years old. When she was sixteen, they married. After moving around for a while, the family finally settled in Vernon, Wilbarger, Texas where they lived on a farm.
