He served there in a replacement unit. It was assigned to the 184th Infantry, Seventh division of the 10th Army. In September 1945 he was a sergeant. A newspaper article said he entered service in San Antonio. The article said he trained at Camp Roberts, California and Fort Lawton, Washington. He was sent to the Hawaii and then to the Marianas. In April 1945 he was stationed in Okinawa. He served there in a replacement unit. It was assigned to the 184th Infantry, Seventh division of the 10th Army. In September 1945 he was a sergeant. |
