She never married. She is shown as a teacher in the 1910 and 1920 censuses provided by James Daniel. She lived with her parents in Waco, Texas. She is shown as 31 years of age in the 1920 census (perhaps confused with her sister's age). Texas State Death Certificate: Census: B&PW Club Will Honor Maude Daniel Mrs. Marietta Clarke will preside and present Miss Daniel, a member of B&PW 30 years, as one member clubs "dream about." The honor comes to Miss Daniel for contributing toward success of committees on which she served. Associates say her unassuming manner and her capabilities have endeared her to them all. Miss Daniel taught in Waco Public Schools 50 years and was principal of Dean Highland Elementary School 29 years. She was born in Eastland County and moved with her family to Waco when she was four. She graduated from the University of Colorado . She lives at 2425 McFerrin Avenue. Mrs. Vern Bratton will give breakfast invocation. Mrs. Ouida Bowers, chairman of the breakfast and of National Business Women's Week activities for the local club, will present Jarrell McCracken, guest speaker. He is president of Word Records, Inc.
