Shared note
Mary Ringstaff said; "Nathaniel Baxter was a brother to my mother Mary M. Baxter Daniel. Their parents were William and Melvina Baxter of Georgia. He died at Corinth, MS, and Melvina died when I was 11 years old." (CEMcD p. 112) Mary Frances (Daniel) Ringstaff did not know until someone told her at school that Zachariah's children were not her full siblings. In CEMcD notes, the marriage to Mary M. "Baseter", transcription error? 3-13-1856 & 3-23-1856 (license & ceremony), performed by Hy S. Staggers, J.P.
