The 1931 Account says, (page 45, CEMcD): Ephraim's (Elias) daughter Emma married Nat Baxter. He is identical to the Nathaniel Baxter, p. 125, CEMcD. MFDR says: "Nathaniel Baxter was a brother to my mother Mary M. Baxter Daniel. ...." Mary was born in 1834 (GA) and Emma J. in 1840. Theo B., Emma J.'s brother was surety for Emma J. Baxter Administratrix of the estate of John N. Baxter; B6-192, Insolvent Estate Book. (Did he die in the Civil War?) |
