Beyond our Elusive William Daniel

Note: Some of this list of children was given to Broyce McCormack by Mr. Jim Brown ca 1972/75. Mr Brown had been a close neighbor of Pierce & Susie for many years. No particular order of listing. Four other children listed came from Edna M. Sauls. There appears to have been some errors in that information, however, which has been corrected here, I hope.

He was Pierson Tolbert Daniel, R1 LaPine, Ala., 44 years of age, Born 10 Jan 1874, white, native born, farming for himself, at R1 LaPine, Ala. His nearest relative was Martha S. Daniel of the same address. He signed the form as Pierson Tolbert Daniel. The second page said he was medium height, medium build, with dark blue eyes and light brown hair. He had no obvious physical features that would disqualify him from service.

Previously there was a Worthy and Rutcher Daniel listed in this family. It appears that they do not belong in this family, but rather in a different James Pierceson Daniel family. I am removing them.

All six of his sons worked for him at the Singer Sewing Machine Company in Montgomery, AL.
