The information on the descendants of Wm. Wells and M. J, Beard comes from a typescript paper by Kitty Wheeler and from family group sheets of Randy Daniel. All notes come from those two sources, with additions from Broyce and later CEMcD notes. On his death certificate, it said he was born April 4 (year was blank). His parents were William Daniel (b. Alabama) and Jane Proctor (b. Alabama). Sam Daniel of Corsicana was the informant. The place of burial or removal was Athens, Texas. He was 83 years of age.
