He was a practical joker and loved to make people laugh. John loved his wife and family and spent his life working hard to care for them. He also loved other people and never met a stranger. John began volunteering for MAPS RV Volunteers Ministry in 1998, and after retiring in 2007 from Anheuser Busch, he and Dianne began full time missionary work for MAPS RVers. John spent his time volunteering to help build churches, work at a Teen Challenge programs and various other projects around the country. He also never missed an opportunity to talk to someone about Jesus. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianne; his three children & their spouses, Steven & Teri Hajec, Renee & Shawn Templeton and Lisa & Joshua Lee; as well as 7 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Peter Hepp Sr, her children, Jessica (Judson), Peter Jr (Christin), Jacob (Kasie); Grandchildren, Wyatt, Levi, Vera and Macy. Her father Richard Sr, sister Cindy, brother Richard Jr. Patty was born 31 Jan, 1957 in Chicago, IL to Richard Fish and Josephine Hajec. She inherited her father's drive and work ethic, and her mother's name association abilities. Patty graduated from Berry High School in 1975, and attended UAB. She spent her life as a painter, seamstress, craft store owner, baker, jewelry repairer, margin doodler and amateur VHS technician. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her tenacity, charm, patience, warm heartedness and open mind. In accordance with her wishes, there will not be a public service, but you are encouraged to enjoy a Diet Coke and go put together a jigsaw puzzle, finish a crossword puzzle or bowl a few frames. The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice and all who have extended kindness and prayed over her and her family during this time.
