Shared note	Georgiana Bennett Bell Pilgrim Rest Church Brewton, Nov. 5th, 1875 It is with sorrow that we hear of the deep affliction of our beloved pastor, Eld. J. E. Bell, caused by the death of his beloved wife. She was a stranger to us personally, yet her life was such, that from information received, we had loved her as a meek and humble Christian, therefore, we mourn not as those who have no hope, knowing that our loss was her gain. Resolved 1st. That our brother has our deepest sympathy in his sad bereavement, praying that the same hand that so deeply afflicted him, may lift him up, and that he may be enabled to be wholly resigned to the will of our God. Resolved, 2nd. That a copy of these resolutions be recorded in the church book of our church, and one be sent to the Alabama Baptist for publication. E. P. Lovelace,} J. S. Scott, } Com.
