J.A. Alexander, FW Musician, will be buried
Graveside services for James A. Alexander, Jr.57, of Huntington, W. Va., a Fort Worth native and a musician here, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill.

Alexander was one of two men killed in a plane crash Sunday in Greenbriar County, W. Va.

The two were on an inspection tour of mines in the area when the crash occured. Officials said a sudden storm caused the crash.

Alexander was a former member of the musicians' union here and had played piano with some of the nations top big bands as well as most of the bands in this area.

Alexander was an RAF pilot in World War II flying planes in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Surviving are his wife Porter; a daugther, Daniele Alexander of Las Vegas, Nev., and a son Jimmie Lee Alexnader of Fort Worth.
