He died 29 Nov 1975 at his home at 2503 Vatican Circle in Dallas. He was male, white, married, and aged 77. His usual occupation was Supt. of Mail, U. S. Post Office. His father was Frank Reed, and his mother was Sally Davis. He was a veteran of WW I. Elsie Reed was the informant. He died of acute coronary insufficiency, due to myocardial infarction (3 months), due to arteriosclerotic heat disease (years). An autopsy was not performed. Elsie Reed was the informant. Claude Bennett Reed, 77, of 2053 Vatican Circle, who retired in 1960 as general superintendent of mailes in the Dallas Branch of the U. S. Post Office, died here Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie, one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, and two sisters.
