She died following childbirth. For future research looking for parents. There was a John Parks, Private, Captain Hugh Barton's Company on a list of War of 1812 soldiers who served from Roane County, TN. http://www.roanetnheritage.com/research/military/war%20of%201812/01.htm Some of those soldiers were from neighboring counties, and not necessarily from Roane County. This is only a possible clue. A number of men named Park (without an s) had deeds in Bledsoe County. They were named James, Joseph, Nathan, and William, and their deeds were recorded on pages 40-50 of Bledsoe County, Tennessee Register of Deeds: Vol A: 1808-1811. This is on Bledsoe County Genweb site. We might actually need to look for the family in Georgia or more likely Virginia, since they had a child who died on the way to Tennessee. So going to Tennessee from where? Citation details: accessed 27 May 2017), WAR OF 1812 Index, Private John Parks Quality of data: primary evidence Date: May 27, 2017
