NOTE: Which man is Andrew's father? Is it Jeremiah Walker, or William H. Walker? Jeremiah might be the father of William, and father-in-law to E. E. More research needed! A Jeremiah Walker married Emily Edwards in Guilford, NC 5 Apr 1842, That would be possible, but seems to push her age a bit too much. Also, Emily was born in IL according to the census records. It just seems unlikely that she married in NC, althoug that also is possible.

Emily is 8 years of age, perhaps giving a clue to the date of her father's death. Apparently Andrew's mother had remarried before 1866. That would put her first husband's death apparently during the Civil War period.
