Funeral services for Mary Sue Voltz, 76, of Pelham will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Matt Peek will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Mrs. Voltz passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Mitchell County Hospital. Born February 28, 1938 in Clanton, Alabama she was the daughter of the late James Hershel Daniel and Mary Lee Spinks. She was married to Charles W. Voltz who survives. She was a Homemaker and member of Dawson Road Church of Christ in Albany and a member of the Pelham Civitan Club. She is survived by her husband, Charles Voltz of Pelham; a son, David Charles Voltz and Brandi of Bon Aire, GA; son James Wesley Voltz and Elizabeth of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Jean Aker of Albany, GA; two brothers, Bobby Daniel of St. Charles, MO and Lee Daniel of Sulphur Springs, TX and a son-in-law, Tommy Palmer of Pelham. Others survivors include grandchildren, Wesley and Kristy Palmer of Pelham, Beth Palmer of Pelham; Hayleigh Marks, one Great Grandchild Olivia Palmer of Pelham. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Dian Palmer, two brothers, James H. Daniel II, William P. Daniel, a sister, Martha Jones and her parents James H. and Mary Lee Daniel. Pallbearers will be David Voltz, James Voltz, Wesley Palmer, Tommy Palmer, Lt. Col (Ret) Tom Fluker, Jr. and Fent Nash. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Pelham Civitan Club.
