On her marriage record she was listed as 22 years old, 5 ft. 4 inches, 130 pounds, AL, and her occupation was house wife. It was her first marriage. Her residence was H. Home. Remarks said Church of C.

In the 1920 census, her family (Silas Wright) lived in household 58 on the same page as the Robert J. Stringer family (in household 62). Apparently her future husband was listed as Robert J. Stringer in that census. His name was correctly listed as John A. Stringer in the 1930 census in which the Stringer family was in household 147, and the Silas Wright family lived in houshold 149 on the same page.
